....My poems are internal dialogs and descriptions of emotions, events and experiences in my everyday existence.
I've developed my own vernacular, choosing metaphor and heavy symbolism to convey the language of the heart. Sometimes words, phrases and construction simultaneously represent multiple people, places and ideas. I once read a passage that coined the phrase "the confessional voice..." in reference to the style in which Anne Sexton wrote. I think that was the perfect phrase that sums up the whole of this ongoing process which continually possesses me. I humbly invite you to dive into this pool.
